Feeding Camels at Pettit Creek Farm — Hayride

Your guests, young & old will delight in our hay-less hayrides. Enjoy an open-air tour of the farm in our hay wagons pulled by our tractors. You’ll be able to see the buffalo roaming, the giraffes trimming the trees, and many more of the exotic animals that live on our Farm. Get up close and personal at stops along the way to feed the camels, zebras, more!

At Pettit Creek Farms, our guests interact with a wide variety of exotic and farm animals including camels and many other surprising animals including a giraffe, zebra, capybara, a lemur, a porcupine, kangaroos, a wallaby, reindeer, macaws, goats, sheep, llamas, alpaca, cows, ponies, horses, donkeys, pigs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, emu and even peacocks!

Experience the ride of your life on one of the world’s oldest transportation animals. Whether going for a short ride around the pen or for a whole far tour, you’ll love traveling “old school”. We offer a camel safari ride January-August, by reservations only as part of our farm tour.

Little Girl on a Pony Ride at Pettit Creek Farms — Pony Rides

What a wonderful experience for your younger children… an ‘old fashioned’ pony ride! Our field hands, parents or guardians lead gentle ponies throughout the 1-mile tour of the farm. Anyone weighing less than 80 lbs., may ride our ponies.
