    Join us for Pettit Creek Farms’ inaugural Independence Day celebration and Fireworks show! Gates will open at 4pm on June 29, 2024.  All activities will close at 8:30pm. The fireworks show will start at dusk. The farm will close at 10pm.

    Both kids and adults will enjoy our farm filled with animals from around the globe.  The 80-acre Pettit Creek Farms boasts Georgia’s largest camel herd with 21 camels and counting! You’ll be sure to have fun getting up close and personal with more than 20 different varieties of animals including camels, giraffe, kangaroos, sheep, capybara, reindeer, and more!

    To gain access to the farm activities and fireworks show, one admission ticket MUST be purchased per carload. Each carload is just $29.99. The hayride farm tour, the sunflower field, the petting zoo area, and the fireworks show are included with your admission ticket.

    There will be the included activities plus additional activities available while you wait for the fireworks show to start. There will be multiple options like pony rides, the giraffe encounter, swings, euro bungy, and other animal feeding opportunities available. This area is pay-to-play and will be CASH only. Most activities are $5 each.  All activities are subject to availability and weather permitting.

    Our concession stand will be brimming with goodies: funnel cakes, chicken tenders, hotdogs, fries, chips, and drinks.

    Feel free to bring chairs and blankets to sit on to enjoy the farm and fireworks.

    All events affected by weather closures will be updated on our Facebook Page.

    Please take a few minutes to sign our waiver before your arrival. This must be completed before you get to the admissions to help keep the line moving.

    Guided Farm Tours

    Guided Farm Tours are back by popular demand! This is your chance to explore our farm, meet friendly animals from around the world, and learn fascinating facts from our knowledgeable guides. Book your spot for a fun-filled day out with the family!

    Tour Details:

    What visitors can expect on the tour:

    • Tour Highlights:

      • 1-1.5-mile walk through the farm

      • Approximately 1.5 hours to complete the tour

      • Meet animals from across the globe

      • Visit the Petting Zoo

      • Opportunity to feed the animals (optional feed bag)

      • Guided by our friendly and knowledgeable staff

      • Please arrive 10 minutes early. Sunscreen and hydration are recommended.

      • The tour route is gravel and grass.

    • 🎟️Ticket Prices: (Save $3-5 per ticket when you book online)

      • Adults: $16

      • Children (Ages 2-12): $14

      • Optional Bag of Animal Feed: $10

      • Optional Pony Rental:$25, rent a pony for your child and let them ride throughout the tour! (Weight limit: 80lbs) Only 3 available per tour time.
      • Optional Golf Cart Rental: $25, will hold 2-3 people depending on size. Only 1 available per tour time.

      • During the Drive Thru tours you MUST remain in your car. Please do not exit your vehicle at anytime along the route.
      • The camels will be the only animals hand fed with this tour.
      • You will toss the feed into the enclosures for the other animals.

    Bartow County Schools Winter Break- February 17-21st:  Open 17, 18, & 21st for a 10am Guided Tour.

    Bartow County School Spring Break- April 5-13th: Open 5th for an 11am & 3 pm tour.  Open 7, 8, & 9th for a 10am & 2pm Guided Tours.

    Good Friday- April 18th: CLOSED

    Easter Egg Hunt on the Farm- April 19th: Drive Thru Tour and egg hunts between 10am-5pm. Check the Farm Tour Page for details.

    Easter Sunday- April 20th: CLOSED

    Memorial Day- May 26th: 10am Guided Tour.

    Independence Day Celebration Event on the Farm- June 28th: 4-9pm Drive Thru Tour, activities area will be available, & FIREWORKS at dusk.

    • 🌽2-Acre Corn Maze:
      Get lost in the fun in our 2-acre maze—perfect for all ages and skill levels!

    • 🐐Animal Encounters:
      Cuddle up with our adorable sheep and goats, get a nuzzle from a friendly camel, or even receive a kiss from our giraffe!

    • 🚜Hayride Around the Farm:
      Climb aboard our hay(less) wagons and enjoy a scenic ride through the farm, taking in the crisp fall air and the beautiful autumn landscape. Perfect for all ages!

    • 🎃 Pumpkin Patch:  We have a large variety of pre-picked pumpkins available. You can purchase those in the Pumpkin patch. CASH only.
