      Farm Tour

    Are looking for good old-fashioned family fun? Then put our farm tour under your “Things To Do” list! Both kids and adults will enjoy our farm filled with animals from around the globe. The 80-acre Pettit Creek Farms boasts Georgia’s largest camel herd with 21 camels and counting! You’ll be sure to have fun getting up close and personal with more than 20 different varieties of animals including camels, giraffe, kangaroos, sheep, capybara, reindeer, and more!

    Jan. – May 24, 2022 : Friday – Sunday. Friday is 1:30pm-5pm. Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm. The last tour of each day is at 4pm.

    May 25 – July 31, 2022 : Wednesday – Sunday, 10am-5pm.  The last tour of each day is at 4pm.

    Aug. 1- Sep. 4, 2022: Saturday- Sunday, 10am-5pm. The last tour of the day is at 4pm.

    Labor Day Sep. 5: 10am-1pm.  Last tour is at 12pm.

    During the tour, you will stay in your vehicle to view the animals from the safety of your car.  All animals are in their enclosure, so there is no damage to your personal vehicle. You will also have the option of purchasing a bag of food for the animals. This food will be thrown from your car into the animal enclosures or fed from your car window. All bags are a one time use paper bag.  You can purchase your tickets with the button on this page or at the gate.

    There will be an activities area at the end of the tour. There will be multiple options like pony rides, the giraffe and the petting zoo with feeding opportunities each day. On Saturday and Sundays there will be additional activities available (swings, euro bungy, zipline tours etc.). This area is pay to play and will be CASH only. Most activities are $5 each.     The drive thru tour will be open rain or shine. All events affected by weather closures will be updated on our Facebook Page. If bad weather/thunderstorms are expected, please check your emails for possible delays or possible ticket exchange information. All tickets are nonrefundable. The only way the ticket can be exchanged is if we have to close or delay due to the weather. Again, please check your emails before heading our way if the weather is going to be raining or stormy that day.  Thank you for your continued support.

    A Country Christmas

    Experience all the warmth and charm of a Southern Family Christmas at Pettit Creek Farms! From beautiful Christmas lights to pictures with Santa AND his REINDEER, there are so many things to do!

    No reservations required.

    You can buy you tickets online or at the gate. All tickets sold are nonrefundable.

    Christmas Lights

    Take a lovely drive or hayride through more than a mile of beautiful Christmas lights. You only need to pay for one option, either the hayride or the drive thru.  Patio heaters will be available to keep you warm but bring a blanket for the hayride! We are open rain or shine. IF severe weather is in the area, check our Facebook page for updates. We are open both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!

    Santa’s Cottage

    Capture holiday memories and visit Santa and his reindeer, Comet and Cupid, at Santa’s Cottage. Pictures with your camera are included with admission!

    Santa is scheduled every Thursday – Sunday, 6 pm-9pm.

    Santa WILL NOT be here on November 28th. 

    Nativity & Petting Zoo

    Experience a nativity (animals on Saturday) and meet the animals at the petting zoo. You might even get a grateful kiss from a camel if you feed it a treat!

    Campfires, S’mores, & more!

    Getting chilly? Warm up by the fire and enjoy s’mores, funnel cakes, hot chocolate and more from our convenient concession stands.

    Christmas Trees

    Complete your holiday experience by selecting the perfect fresh-cut tree for your home as a family. We offer #1 Premium Christmas Trees. They are fresh cut, standing in water! Don’t have room for it with all the young’uns? Ask about delivery.


    • Keep headlights ON while driving through lights for everyone’s safety.
    • Footwear – wear shoes that can get dirty or our easy to clean. This is a working farm and there is a lot of fun to be had off the gravel path.
    • Taking the hayride? Bring a small blanket to stay warm on chilly nights.

    MASK ARE NOT REQUIRED, but are recommended when you can’t social distance.

    Pumpkin Fest

    Fall in love with the Farm all over again during our annual Pumpkin Fest, which runs from late September (last two weekends only) through October 30th! Take in all the splendor of autumn at our annual fall festival complete with a wide variety of animals and special fall attractions sure to entertain the entire family.

    Get lost and found in our 2-acre corn maze. Cozy up with sheep, get nuzzled by a camel or even kissed by a giraffe while viewing more than 20 varieties of animals on the farm.  Climb aboard our hay wagons and enjoy a hayride around the farm taking in the crisp fall air and beautiful scenery.

    So, what are you waiting for? Bring the kids and the entire family for a fun day outdoors making great memories without breaking the bank! Here at Pettit Creek, we are all about family. And affordable family fun. For one low price, enjoy the corn maze, hayride, petting zoo, and more as many times as you like!

    Want even more fun? Enhance your experience with budget-friendly add-ons like a cup of feed, giraffe treats, pony rides, Euro-Bungy, swings, and Aerial Course, available daily. Additional activities like camel rides (Camel rides will NOT be available every weekend.), canopy tours and concessions are available most weekends during the season. Aerial Course and Canopy tours require a signed waiver.

    Please bring CASH for the add-on options. The admission tent can accept cash or credit cards but all add-ons and concessions will be cash only.
